[菲律賓遊學] 宿霧SMEAG語言學校

 It's a fantastic trip in Cebu! I never thought I am here in Philippines. Destiny? Yes, I think so. Even though I still feel the experience helps me a lot. The story began at last year, my lovely associate whose name is Eva tried to convinced me to study English. Therefore, she already experienced four months at SME in Cebu. Originally, I couldn't feel any attractions for me because I need to quit my job and no income. Despite of several times discussion, and she never gives up.

  Fortunately, there are some problems problem me and I made a decision dramatically whether my parents disallow or not. Absolutely, I need to study English for a better job opportunity. No matter how other people deride me, I would persevere my decision. English is an international language. Nowadays, you can't escape it because you need to use in usual. Especially I'm a Hardware Engineer, reading datasheet and email are very common. After few months, I decided to resign from my position. That's why I'm here now.

  In SME, you have to speak English to communicate with everyone. There are many different nationalities students if you want to practice. You can make new friends and improve your speaking skill. Also, there are several courses you can choose as ESL, TOEIC, IELTS, TOFEL and Business. It depends on your needs. For me, I have two purposes. One is TOEIC score, and another is speaking. I have six months for studying, it's quite long so I have to achieve my target. Teachers in SME are professional and friendly, you don't need to worry about understanding. If you can't understand well, just ask teachers explain more or change your teachers. It's a humanity policy if you feel not match with your teacher.

I am glad my teachers do me a big favor, and I always study hard. I spend at least four to six hours for studying everyday. It's difficult to insist, but you have to do. No doubt, your enemy is yourself.

   SME provides a good educational environment to me, all I need to do is study. It could be easy or difficult. "Don't try, just do it" is my motto. Even face many difficulties, you need to believe you can overcome. My teachers also motivate me very often. I'm very appreciate for their kindness. In SME, they have regular flow chart can help you step by step. Especially there are many one on one classes, it's suitable for adjusting your speaking. After four months and half, I got my target score in TOEIC course. I'm satisfied because my effort already paid off. After that, I changed my course to business course.

  Speaking skill is more essential for me because I would like to work at foreign company. Score is just score, it doesn't mean you can accommodate clients. That's why I decide to study in business course immediately. In business course, I learned how to present. To give a presentation is not easy, you need to face audiences and fear. You have to practice very often and familiar it. I think business course is more suitable for me and I really enjoy it.

  Although I will leave Cebu after two weeks, but I know it's temporary. I will come back again, and hope next time I can create my own business in Cebu. Everything is possible. I will keep learning. I hope this composition can help other student. Don't think too much, sometimes you need to sacrifice something and you will get fruitful results. Enjoy your study!
